it's a good idea if you guys have a school tour inside and nearby manila schools....

hmm.. pinoy cosplay school tour? a group of cosplayers going from one school to the next ganun ba?

if it's what i think it is, it's plausible and do-able.

but i have to ask, (and i hope you dont take offense in this) what is the purpose of going from one school to another in full costume? i mean what's the message you want to say to the students of the schools you'll be going to?

sorry if i offended anyone. and i have to admit, i kinda like the idea it's just that to me, the idea isn't complete yet.

you know like.... to promote cosplay.... and to tell them that this can be a hobby... and it can help develop self-confidence among the youth.....ow and the value of anime in the lives of pilipino people now-a-days....

Well, it's a good idea, but of course you must ask permission to the school authorities first. And you should also have a main objective, clear enough for them to approve it.

yup... your right!!! and i think it's easy to get permission on this kind of occation.... unlike the battle of the bands occation...it's a long process ^_^

siguro po kung makikipag team up kayo with an anime channel like animax or hero to promote...baka sakali po pwede... :P crazy suggestion lang..please don't flame me...

...mmm....maganda naman yung idea kaso parang kailangan yata ng sponsor kung gagawin ito para masorganize. Pupunta ang mga Pcers sa iba't ibang school tapos kailangan pa ng permission at may maipakita ka na objective.

pero, i think promotion of cosplay would be easier done in malls. after classes, dahil usually, dun naman nagpupunta ang mga studyante e. but then again, mas maganda din sa schools. let's just hope wala silang prejudice towards otakus and cosplayers. may mga ganun kasi na school e.

kung sa schools nila, maraming magiging obstacle.

probably during events lang papayagan yung ganung promotion...like..ummm...foundation days...or sports week..kung kelan walang regular classes...

not to generalize pero most schools are biased when it comes to anime...*sighs* like mine for example..they refuse to put mangas in the library branding anime as a non academic related nuisance....*pif* the world is indeed cruel....*nod**nod*

@minna: sususbukan ko i-ask sa principal ko sa HS (actually i'm a 2nd year student but 19 yr old guy) in short, repeater ako :lol: pero mas maganda kung from school ang mkka-alam about this event pera nman meron silang alam kung anu ang ggwin natin sa campus d b? bawal nman magkalat para nman nde tau masira at AKO! :lol: kasi malakas ako sa principal e XD

hmm.. looks like things are shaping up. :P sensya na i had to play the devil's advocate sa naunang page. :)

anway.. ang nakikita ko lang obstacle sa event na to is getting permission from different schools. kailangan kasing solid chaka pulido yung objectives ng event. tapos chaka palang magdedecide yung mga schools kung appropriate yung event.

let's see. kung yung cultural aspect ng cosplaying ang ila-layout sa request malaki ang chance na payagan yung event. just like mlqc said

suggestions po:
gumawa po kayo ng committee para sa event na to.
i-finalize nio yung event objectives chaka proposed schedule of activities <-- may panel ba na magbibigay ng talk? cosplay cat walk?
informally ask different schools kung papayag sila sa ganitong activity <-- [I]para lang malaman kung may magpaparticipate
kung positive yung feedback, chaka lumapit sa preferred sponsor/s like hero tv chaka yung mga online gaming companies.

^^ di po magiging madali yung pageexecute ng isang unestablished event. chaka sa suggestion ko mga less than half pa lang yan ata ng nakikita kong mga dapat gawin sa pagoorganize ng ganitong event. pero kaya naman gawin.
