Well, I got the idea from Rofe's Anime Quote thingy... But this is more than just quotes from animes or mangas. I'm just curious as to which words you live by. Maybe you heard a quote from a movie that totally stuck to you and ever since then you've lived by it... Maybe from a philosopher... Wherever it may have come from post them here and explain how it relates to you... Did that make sense?

This is my topic so it’s only fair that I should go first... "Dream like you'll live forever, live like you'll die tomorrow!" I love this saying because I’m the type of person who doesn’t believe in the afterlife - And even if I did believe in it, I’ll probably go to Hell, hahahaha - I also don’t believe in reincarnation! You’ve only got one life to live, live it to the best you can and pursue your dream… You never know when you’re going to die…

I'm a shy person. Yes, I am. Hehe... But well, one day I got this quote in my results for a quiz in Quizilla.

It made me think that I've only got one life and that I shouldn't just let my shy-ness hinder me from trying to achieve my dreams.

Before no matter what it was, I'd be hesitant to try it. I would rarely try anything new. I would rarely make new friends. In fact, I used to be someone who no matter what, wouldn't talk to anyone I didn't know unless absolutely necessary.

I surprised myself back in December when I joined a dubbing contest with my friend. Then I went on a retreat with people I didn't know. The old me would never have done those things -I wouldn't have the guts- but I'm a new person with many different personalities. Sometimes the old me gets the better of me and drags me down with my old insecurities but most of the time I manage to shake them off.

It seems that this question comes to mind nowadays. There was a time I couldn't care less but now... I think: What would Jesus do? Would he even consider doing what I'm about to do?

My faith still isn't that strong but it's improved. I try to do what I think God wants me to do. I'm a good girl now... most of the time, anyway. :lol:

pag di daw sya naging ganun baka makapatay kami balang araw..
pero kahit mahirap yung subject lahat ata kaming dumaan sa mga kamay nya naging paborito sya at ang subject na yun..

hinayaan nya kaming i-explore ang kakayanan namin..
lagi nyang sinasabi we learn from our mistakes.. though sometimes we can't afford to make mistakes or there is no room for mistakes..
sabi nya wag daw kaming matakot gumamit ng equipments na nun lang namin nakita..
sabi nya, kung alam mo ang ginagawa mo wala kang dapat ikatakot..

sabi nya gawin namin kung ano ang passion namin..
wag naming limitahan ang mga sarili namin..
at higit sa lahat i-share sa iba kung ano ang ginagawa namin..
prof sya at mataas ang expectations nya sa mga estudyante nya..
pero alam nya na hindi namin dapat ikulong ang sarili namin sa pag-aaral..
daig nya pa magulang ko..

we can become someone far greater than what we seem to be..
but only if we allow ourselves to maximize our potentials.. ^_^

Everything's possible, right? Definitely, we can apply all things in our mind. One reason some people achieve their goals, it's because they belive in possibilities. Everything can be made true. One example is our fellow Pinoys who had reached the top of Mt. Everest. Maybe at first they just thought of going there but now, look at them, what they're just staring up above is in their reach already. See?

oh man, everybody has some serious stuff going on. i actually feel kinda silly posting mine here after what everyone else has said. oh well. here's my top 3:
