Anime north???

Anime North is Canada's premier fan run anime convention.

Anime North 2006 will be held on the weekend of May 26-28 (Memorial Day weekend) at the Toronto Congress Center, 650 Dixon Road, and at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel, 655 Dixon Rd. (directly across the street).

The event has two major cosplay competitions, five minor competitions, and fifteen photo shoots.

Leader, inadvertise mo na kagad ako, nyahahahahaha… I'm going; this is my first time going to an anime convention and first time cosplaying... And like Neil_Yamato said, I’ll be cosplaying as time jump (TJ) Nara Shikamaru from Naruto. I’ll be participating in the Naruto photoshoot… Team Asuma is missing a TJ Chouji T_T… But there’s a TJ Temari and Ino, so I’ll try to get pictures with them… ‘cause we all know Shikamaru is the ultimate pimp!

Are you going? And are you also cosplaying?

Why don’t you come as Ino? There’s going to be a photoshoot that has the past and present characters going head to head… And I believe they’re in need of Ino before the TJ.

My Kodaku no Jutsu will be perfected by then. My cell's ring tone is Shikamaru's theme song; sana may tumawag saakin kapag naka Kagemane no Jutsu pose ako, nyahahahaha... I'm going with a friend or two but I'll be the only one cosplaying. I need not worry about getting snubbed, supposedly the "HOT" thing for most cosplaying dames here are ASIAN guys in cosplay... I'm an ASIAN guy and I will be in cosplay!

I sure do hope I'll be able to tie my hair up though... I'm going to test run hair tying this weekend, see what works and what doesn't... Thanks for the support... I feel like this is my FC, nyahahaha...

Ahihihihi... I just want to bump this, gusto ko makasama mga Filipino sa Anime North... For now, I'm only going on Saturday. I'll be leaving early, around 6 or so because its my sister's babyshower.

excited na akong makita yung mga pics from the event pag nagsimula na. :lol:

I wonder if I can make a topic for gathering Filipinos in the convention... Just to represent Philippines and pinoycosplay.com...
