Too many spam threads @ Cosplayer Chitchat. We need SPAM CONTROL here since Mike already announced NO SPAMMING at the guidelines. Pick ONLY ONE spam thread that should remain so I could delete the others.

This forum isn't like other messageboards that gives points/items per post. Please let us make Pinoy Cosplay cosplay-related as much as possible.

NO VOTES MEANS I WILL DELETE ALL OF THEM

I'll leave Isang tanong, isang sagot spam thread. You're free to post there. The other topics at the poll will be deleted.

another way you can control the threads is by deleting the threads when they reach 100 or 200 pages for any thread that is (of course of all the boards i've been to the pic thread is always left as it is) . 100 i think was the tradition.. and/or threads tht are over 6 months old. whichever comes first. just a suggestion ^^;

@hitsugi: That's the case in other forums. But this forum is very different from the others coz you're all allowed to exceed 100 posts. Although you still need to avoid spamming that is :) I usually delete topics that are inactive & senseless.

nabasa ko dun sa suggestions thread, yung sinabi ni NC na delete threads beyond 100 pages.

i think you should lower that to around 50 in the case of quick reply threads, or spamming threads, whichever they call it.

haha naiintindihan ko naman (and siguro ng iba) na ang PC ay forum for "cosplay" topics and I repeat, "Cosplay" topics... kung ito lang ang paraan para makontrol ang spam, then members should bear with it.. after all you are an authorized person here, AND you are authorized to do whatever you want to do for the sake of you boards...

yeah, napansin ko rin na masyadong nang madaming spam threads so its a good way na delete all and stick to one

suggestion ko po forum with no post count! for games and topics na pang spam :D Toinkz!

If there's an option to do that... That would be great, but wouldn't you have to have a "spam forum/thread" where any posts/topics created there would not be counted?!

actually, pwede talaga yun. Sa Gamer Clan forums may "Spamming Section" sila eh, di counted sa post counts yung mga nakalagay dun. ^^

That's what I meant; you need to make a spam section to seperate which forum/thread will have post counts and which doesn't. BUT by doing that, it will take up more space than it would help control the spam level... I believe they’re trying to save space/minimize spam topics in general. And I don't think they're that concerned about how much posts a user has.

^uu pwede un sa invisionfree.. gumawa ako nun dati sa forum nmin sa EGF (also invisionfree) pero tinanggal ko nrin.. tutal konti lng nmn kami ehehe.. and btw kahit magpost ng magpost d2 sa forum di yun magcconsume ng space or mauubos mb space ng forum.. :D unless nagupload ng mga pics/attachements (which is disabled d2), emoticons, Pips/TeamIcons :D

Basta NO SPAMMING! Makakita ako ng spam thread, delete agad. From now on, lahat ng inactive & senseless threads idedelete ko. Ang gulo na tingnan ng Cosplayer Chitchat, dapat linisin. Tapos ang usapan...
