and for those who want to know her birthday, its September 20, 1983
22 years old,
she is located at malate manila

her hobbies include:
kumain, matulog, manood ng tv, at cosplay

She's also one of the administrators of the pinoycosplay community ;)

a wonderful Shiva cosplay here in the Phil.

I first saw her in the pages of "Culture Crash 14" along with Mr. Robert Wong, Ms. Edj and Ms. Ash

and her magnificent costume did glued my eyes into those pages..
I thought it's so cool to cosplay like that..

then I saw her again in the pages of Questor and so on..

She's an award-winning cosplayer
having won numerous awards already..

And also she's one of my cosplay inspirations ^_^

hmmm i remember reading the CCCOM issue... and was amazed at all 4 finalists.. special dun si shiva.. astig ung body paint astig talaga... i thought that its impossible to meet her in person and so i just lived my H.S. life (high-school pa ako nun..) as a normal teenager would.... then.. the first time i saw was on the last day of hero launching day she is with mike at that time.. she was in pink costume.. hehe then after a week it was the naruto photoshoot @ UP and i just dropped by to see them i wasn't aware that she was there.. as i wait for other cosplayers to drop.. she introduced herself as jerry polence.. after that i started attedning cons i sometimes see her.. and the rest is history//

umm.... Jeremiah "Jerry" Polence, is just the name I used to join cosplay competition. Since, during the time I first cosplayed, my school has a rule that states, students are not allowed to join any outside competition without any prior notice to the school.

So... studying in an exclusive, non-sectarian, catholic, private school run by nuns... I don't think they will allow me to join in a cosplay wearing blue body paint to cover most of my body parts.^_^;

so... yun.... until now ata di pa alam ng school ko itong hobby ko^_^;

haha, tapos bigla meron pla nun dito sa pinoycosplay na taga school mo! :P

yup^_^... totoo yun.... during that time when it was released, I was planning to enter the convent after I graduated, and I had a convent I was planning to apply for already. But now I am happily engaged.^_^

@Jerry: Strict naman ng mga madreng yun. Dapat hindi ka nagpapahuli tutal hindi ka naman makikilala sa costume mo hehe!

Ako din naman sa exclusive school nag-aral nung una akong sumali sa cosplay yun nga lang wala akong matandaan na rules na ganun XD Pero nung sumali ako sa unang Art Contest sa AXN, pinagkalat ng prof ko yung character art ko na masyadong sexy, buti hindi nakita ng mga madre

well... I can't blame the school... dami na kasing history ng students na models at artista, kaya medyo mahigpit sila, specially when it comes to beauty contests... siguro ginawa nilang all contest in general, keeping the good of the students and the school in mind. Saka in our case, specially mine, being explicit/sexy in nature ng entry natin will always result to criticisms

yup, halos lahat ng costume na pinili ko nun yung hindi ako makikilala, para kung sakaling makita nila ako, di nila mamukhaan. :P

hehe, dahil ata dyan nagegeneralize ko most of the nuns na nagpapatakbo ng educational institutions; they give me a bad connotation tuloy.

(pwede pa semi-OT?) may naalala tuloy akong friend ng kabarkada ko (@wantan, friend ni jops) na nde katoliko, a born-again maybe, so nung prayer time nde sya nag sign of the cross. nakita ng madre, giniit na mag sign of the cross sya "because we are all brothers and sisters" blah blah. the girl took a stand and yet she was helpless, umiyak na lang siya sa klase.
