I have scheduled an email interview with James Alsup and I would like to gather your questions for him. James is the Con Director for The Reactor one of the most controversial and youngest cons in the midwest. It only started in 2004. Since it is a young con, they experience almost the same things that Philippine Conventions do --- except that since they have other conventions to base from they are growing faster and handling difficulties faster.

Do you think cosplay judges should always be otaku?

Yes, I know it sounds like a silly question to an otaku, but I've heard at least one big local cosplay organizer say otherwise.
