NAME THAT SONG:

MECHANICS: An intro of an anime song will be played the host will waive his handkerchief. The first person who gets the hanky will have the chance to answer. If the first one is failed to answer after 5 seconds, his opponent will given a chance to steal.
NO. OF PLAYERS: 10

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

MECHANICS: At least half of the members are legitimate PUP students. Songs should be OST of Anime’s that were aired in the Philippine local channels.

NO. OF CONTESTANTS: 5 Bands

CRITERIA:
• Synchronization 30%
• Musicality 20%
• Showmanship& projection 20%
• Song resemblance 20%
• Audience impact 10%

BLAZING YOYO

MECHANICS: Players will be divided into 2 batches. Players can only advance if he finishes the moves perfectly.
Moves are the following (in order):
Long sleeper UFO Magic
Walk the dog Tokyo Tower Double or nothing
The creeper Dog Bite Side Winner
Forward pass Three Leaf Clover Barrel Roll
Break away Loop the loop 10x Moon Sault Backflip
Rock the baby Brain Twister Split the Atom
Elevator Moon Sault Atomic Fire
Rocket Loop the loop 30x Shoot the Moon
Loop the loop Pinwheel Double Loop

NO. OF PLAYERS: 10

TIME LIMIT: 15 sec /move

CRITERIA:
• Difficulty of the tricks 50%
• Cleanliness of the execution of the trick 50%

WHO’S THAT POKEMON? : 10 PLAYERS

MECHANICS: A silhouette of a Pokemon will be presented. Facilitator will waive a hanky and the first one who gets the hanky will have the chance to answer. If the first one is failed to answer after 5 sec. his opponent will be given a chance to steal.


WHO’S THAT ANIME? : 10 PLAYERS

MECHANICS: A part of an anime character will be shown. The facilitator will waive his hanky, and the first one who gets the hanky will have the chance to answer. If the first one is failed to answer after 5 sec. his opponent will be given a chance to steal.

YUGI-OH CHALLENGE (TOURNAMENT)

MECHANICS: There will be 8 participants. Four pairs will simultaneously have their match. The winners of each pair will again have their match until the “King of Duelist” will be chosen.

ANIME CHARADE: 5 PAIRS

MECHANICS: A picture of an anime character will be shown on stage. One should not see it, he shall just ask his\her partner questions that are answerable by yes, no, maybe, and the like until he gets the right answer. The pair who gets the answer within the time limit of 60 seconds will declared as a winner.

DAKDAKAN! BASKETBALL CHALLENGE: 10 PLAYERS

MECHANICS: The player who gets 5 consecutive successful shots will win. This will be played at the outside court near the tennis court.

ON-THE-SPOT DRAWING CONTEST: 10 PLAYERS

MECHANICS: There will be an anime picture that will be copied by the contestants. The contestants should applied shadows and shadings in their artwork.

TIME LIMIT: 20 min

CRITERIA:
• Creativity 40%
• Cleanliness 20%
• Uniqueness 40%

ANIME DUBBING CONTEST: 10 PLAYERS

MECHANICS: There will be an anime video clip (without audio) that will be shown on stage. Contestants will create their own lines and dub the video. There will be a separate video clip for a female and male contestant.

CRITERIA:
• Voice quality 30%
• Synchronization 20%
• Creativity 30%
• Audience impact 20%

PIN THE LOLLIPOP TO L

MECHANICS: There will be a picture of L. Participants will be blindfolded, turn around 3 times then he will pin the lollipop like pin to the mouth of L. The contestant who will pin the lollipop nearest to the mouth will win.

NO. OF PLAYERS: 10

TIME LIMIT: 5sec/ player

BATTLE OF THE BANGS

MECHANICS:Participants that possess unique hair style are invited to join in this game whwerein they will display their “bangs” to the audience. The contestant who receives the greatest number of claps will win.

CRITERIA:
• Uniqueness 50%
• J-rock/pop style 50%

NO. OF PLAYERS: 10

TIME LIMIT: 10 sec/ contestant

RUBIK’S CUBE CHALLENGE

MECHANICS: In a period of 30 seconds, the player who gets the most number of colors assembled will win.

NO. OF PLAYERS: 10

ANIME DANCE SHOWDOWN

MECHANICS: The contestant will dance with the tune of an anime song for 60 seconds. The contestant who receives the most number of claps from the audience will win.

ANIMEZING RACE

There will be seven stations that every team must complete. Every station has a dragon ball that players must collect. There will be a presiding officer in each station that will give clues on where and how to find the dragon balls. The first team who finishes the race wins.

COSPLAY COMPETITION

Every participant shall be given 30 seconds on the ramp. Vulgar dresses and deadly weapons are not allowed.
