During a YM conference which included registered users of Filcosplay and Pinoy Cosplay, a number of members from both communities started talking about this unecessary barrier.

There are members of Pinoy Cosplay who, for some reason, feel discriminated against Filcosplayers. Some cosplayers who don't even understand why there has to be this separation still feel the tension between the two communities. There are Pinoy Cosplayers who replied with, "Ay talaga?" or "Ah ganon ba?" when I told them they shouldn't be scared to post in FC because everyone's nice there, and that no one will flame them for originally coming from PC. Some people were even surprised to know that I look at FC and PC members equally.

We don't want this to go on. We're going to be seeing each other in events and this weird tension isn't going to help us enjoy.

Time to break the barrier. Let's party. ^_^

nung una e FC ako tpos ngaun nagkaron ng PC e join n rin ako , pero equal lng ang tingin ko s dalawa . Maganda nga ung marami kang nakikilala ^_^

Inosenteng tanong lang po... (sana walang magagalit)... ano po ba ang pagkakaiba ng Filcosplay sa PinoyCosplay (bukod sa lettering *joke*)???

@ceravi ceres: Ang pagkakaiba lng ng Filcosplay at PinoyCosplay ay sa pangalan at admin lang.
Pero ang tema at layunin ng parehong forums ai iisa lang.
Ito ai ang pagbuklurin ang mga Filipino cosplayers. :rolleyes:

Sa pagkaka-alam ko lumalabas na si Mike pa ang nagnunukhang barrier sa PC at FC...

Sa init nung nakalipas na "issue" hindi din natin alan kung ano na ba talaga.

Hindi natin maitatangi na si Mike ang HEAD ng PC pero tayong mga members
ang PUSO ng PC.

Well, yan din naman yung gusto kong mangyari dun sa ginawa kong topic na "Cosplay Festival". Unity ng mga Filipino Cosplayers ang pinaka-dahilan. ^_^

Pero kung gusto talaga natin ng peace dapat pati admins ng 2 forums magbati na rin di ba?

Kung walang peace ang admins then hindi ito official na treaty. Dapat magbati muna sila para matuloy ang plano kasi kung magkagalit pa rin yung admins then bale wala rin to. Magkakasundo nga mga members pero yung officers naman nila yung galit-galit. Wag naman ganun...

@ wantan: Umm... Just to make it clear, the party isn't going to revolve around patching things up between the admins of PC and FC. Mike, as well as the FC staff, didn't want the party to be about that. It's about reassuring each other that we can all get along and it'll give members from both communities a chance to bond. ^_^

It'd be nice also if we could get PCers to contribute to an outreach activity that FC is organizing. CAUSE-PLAY: Cosplay For A Cause.

And yes, there's already a thread about this in the Filcosplay forums. :D
