Title: Who's been to Japan?
Description: tell us what's it like there ^_^

Radical_Akira - February 16, 2006 11:27 AM (GMT)
I doubt that there a few of us whose dying to be there and experience Japan, whether to vist or to reside. I admit I'm one of those anime fanatics who's got their attention and curiosity to experience the life and see what its like in that country after watching a lot of animes, reading mangas and the like.

So for those who have been there, please tell us, who have not been there and/or planning.

Share us what's it like there and other related details such as how did you get there. Why were you there? When was it? Are you going back there?

There are a lot of questions that I would love to ask but there are a lot of things out there. I don't specifically think I could just point out exactly.

I don't want to stick with those tour guides/tour spots and watch those features of WINS or the morning presentations of RPN (which I assume were about 2 or more yrs ago). I want to hear what's the reality there. What about the underdog stuff and the poverty. Not that I'm being negative here BUT I'd want to hear an objective reality experience from you good fellow Pinoy cosplayers.
News is still different though like those I see in Time, Asiaweek and the like.

There are a lot of things that I'd like to know and for those who are interested.

I would be very glad to hear from you any details as long as it the truth of the Japan experience.

Arigato guzaimasu!

I've been to Japan... Well sa airport, ahihihi. When I saw the workers at the airport, I felt like I was in an anime... Wala lang, ahahahaha. Oh and they had porn magazines like in front of the store instead of the back.

X103-Buster - April 14, 2006 05:52 PM (GMT)
ahehe madali pla makakuha ng porno sa Japan lolx

Eiri - April 18, 2006 06:27 PM (GMT)
Japan is full of pornographic materials...
even on posters...in terms of topix like that?
japan is DIRTY! ^_^

even little kids would read magz like what terensu mentioned...

but japan in terms of earthly cleanliness...
it's extremely clean! not only will u pay a LARGE SUM...
if u litter even an ash from ur cigar! (around 500pesos!)
AND! you go to jail...

and did u know that children in japan...kinder-garden...
are to take care of a fish for a certain amount of time...
then they are to release it at the river/lake?

That way....they would not litter on the waters of japan knowing their fish
lives there! And even if they grow older & know the truth...
they'd already be used to throwing garbage where it SHOULD go...^_^

*Stayed in japan for a few years as a kid*

Terensu - April 18, 2006 06:55 PM (GMT)
Man Japan rocks... Maybe Philippines should implement something like that.

mlqc - June 9, 2006 08:47 AM (GMT)
well..... maganda dun. parang sa us 7:00 am malamig pa.... mga tao dun ndi tamad ang friendly din... malinis ang paligid and hi-tech na rin yung mga bagay dun.... like.... you can buy stuff by using cellphone... sa mga malls e pwede ka mag ask ng info sa robot. etc. sa airport palang... makikita mo maganda at hi-tech... lalo na pag nasa shibuya ka na o kaya sa ginza... dami resto, malls etc. change nila ay mga parts ng electronic device.... ginagawa nila yun for spare parts or pangawa ng robot for hobbie. they sell 2nd handed device for low price pero parang brand new... ang ndi ko makakalimuta na place dun ay ang bandai museum.... makikita mo yung mga gawa ng banda sa tv like gundam... ang huganteng ulo ni zaku nandun.... pero u need to pay 500 yen sa ibang section ng museum like sa super sentai... but it's well to see.... i can tell you it's better to live there kaysa sa US...

Radical_Akira - June 13, 2006 09:35 AM (GMT)
I really appreciate each and everyone sharing your insights. Im sorry if I was able to reply only just now. Let's all admit it, we're all been touched by Japan through our hearts. For me, its too much to ask to live there. But whats wrong about dreaming to be in a place like that? Quite frankly Im thinking of wanting to experience what life is there too.

Well, lahat ito nagsimula sa pagaatach ko sa anime pero anime is just a snowball compared to facing the whole Japan thing.

Now kung madali lang makahanap ng trabaho dun e no? Hehe

so sa mga nakapunta doon. kumusta mga kapwa pinoys?

one thing that I realized with these people is that to be who I really am. But one thing that really touches me is how? how exactly?

By the way, comrades, I got this thing from Japan Embassy. I visited the library they got. the desk lady shared me this book called the JET journal 2005. 1 time I'll be sharing some journals written there. :D

stay tuned :D
