Yeah, I'm going, but I'm not cosplaying... my first cosplay will still be on November (even though I was mistaken for a cosplayer last Ozine XD)... I'm there to support my friends.

There's a propsmaker near Gil Puyat LRT station... he makes swords too, but not out of metal. Maybe you could have your sword made there (but you need to inquire about it by this coming week)... he needs one week to do it 'cause may iba pa siyang mga ginagawa. They also make costumes (but you need to bring it in at least one month before).

The one they might be talking about is Cargin's Dance wear, located in Marconi St. (Chowking Side) they basically make dance wear (ala Las Vegas Show girl and Japayuki, by the dozens.) It's been a long time since I ordered there, but I do advice that you go to other costume makers, since they are usually busy, phone #551-1059. For your sword, try to buy at toy shops first, if you can't find what you need, go to other costume makers. Most costume makers will not carve out your sword from wood, they will most prolly use rubber sheets and textile materials.

Another costume maker is Kuya Poli, who is highly recommended by many cosplayers, I don't know their location though. For props alone there is the Feather Shop in Yangco Market, Pasilio X.
