anu po ba dapat gawin ng mga 1st time cosplayers???
kaze marami ako mga friendz na gusto sumali pero doesn't know how to do things right...
baka raw kaze magkamali lang zila and hindi rin nila alam kung panu yung proper registration eh...
plz help them nmn onegai!!!!!

If it's their first time to cosplay, it would be nice to look for the event that they will be able to attend, look for the conditions of the event (the time of start, what characters that can be cosplayed, etc.).

Then if they had decided on what to cosplay, make the costume / have the cosutme made (of course don't forget to PAY FOR THE COSTUME) and attend the event. I guess it's better to attend the event with some friends so that you will not feel left out.

And lastly: HAVE FUN IN THE EVENT.

Maybe you can contact some of the organizers of the events in this forum. They might help you in creating rules and prolly the details for the event.

if you want I'll help you out with the details^_^... just tell me what in particular you want to know... cosplay rules, program run-through, etc.^_^

:P All of the above... plus things like "criteria for judging", things to prepare on stage and off stage, time limit, do's and donts for cosplayers and organizers,....

stuff like that...

usually if your going to cosplay a particular character you have to bring a picture of the character you are portraying.

also it is best na kapag nandun ka na sa event, may kasama kang at least 1 friend to help you out with your costume. minsan kasi u need an assistant to help you get dressed lalo na pag maraming abubot ung character that you cosplayed.

May rules ba kung ilan ang pede mong kasama? kasi kung big time cosplayer ka kunwari at ang costume mo ay somewhat parang sobrang detailed na kailangan mo pa ng walong assisstant.... (hehehehe OA....) baka nman maging masyadong crowded sa dressing room.... Ilan ba ang usual?

Depende, kasi yung ibang big time cosplayers iisa lang assistant ok na e.

Okay... so walang restrictions sa mga kasama.... Eh anu-ano naman ang hanap nio sa isang dressing room... bukod sa kelangna well- ventilated at may salamin... ;)

Wall hooks, tables, and guarded item boxes are nice. I don't want to leave my clothes and valuables on the floor.

Okie okie.... Kailangan ba meron ding source of electricity dun sa dressing room? May nagdadala ba ng mga Blower, Flat Iron, at anything of that sort sa cosplay?

Atsaka kailangan pa ba ng divider para pag magbibihis per cosplayer? (Andami nman yata nun!)

@g3tan: as you are expecting a very nice dressing room, sometimes you also have to be prepared for the worst case cause sometimes ang dressing room becomes for all girls so basically ang boys sa c.r. n lng nagpapalit.
