That would be nung nagcosplay ako ng Rebecca Chambers (Resident Evil 0) tapos nalaman ko na lang na 3 pose gagawin sa stage tapos may speech pa! Funny thing was my only prop is the infamous green herb kulang na lang sumigaw ng "Clean & Green!".



Another is my Lilith (Darkstalkers) cosplay, sa liit ng steps sa stage natapilok ako hehe! Then sumabit yung pakpak ko sa mic pagkatapos magspeech.



Then yung 2nd cosplay ko as Sakura sa UGG1, mali ang pinuntahan kong exit tumalon ako sa entrance ng stage.

as a photographer:

worst things that can happen:
1. you run out of bat for the camera (happened to me at g2 con)
2. wrong place to shoot the photos (upame events)
3. lighting is too low for good shots (upame events)
4. someone bumps you when you are about to get the "Perfect" shot, causing the photo to be blurry. (happened a few times)

things that happen before, during and after the catwalk session that may result to the worst.....

before:

you get nervous
you get cold sweat
your legs froze
you get hallucinations of negative things that might happen on stage
(these happen to me all the time)

during:

your legs shiver
its hard to walk
your mind goes blank
your blinded by the light
your voice gets stuck
(happened to me.....)

after:

your legs feel as if its made of jelly
you feel as if you had a brain freeze
you feel a funny feeling in your stomache
your lips go pale
(yup....it happened)


but the best part of it was:

EMOTIONAL FULFILLMENT :wub:

before:
nagmamadali ka sa pag-assemble/pag-ayos ng costume mo
dahil sa pagmamadali, natataranta ka na
nerbiyos

during:
battery runs low
mamanhid ang mga balikat mo

after:
wrong pose lolz..

TENSE NA TENSE! parang malalaglag puso ko! :P

During:

waaa.... ano gagawin ko! khit anu.. hahahaha..

After:

WHEW! sumakit paa ko dahil sa boots.. huhuhuhu...

then masaya parin!!

as a newbie:

- fear of "sucking"
- if you're solo, xmpre mahihiya ka
- your character is unknown/not that very popular
- you screw up really bad
- if in a group, your groupmates screw you over because of personal reasons. ehehe

ah, I had my own share of really bad experiences in cosplay. Ganito:

Before:
-pag maaga mukha kang tanga, lalo na kung sa mall gaganapin yung cosplay.
-pag may naiwan ka, you resort on doing something para mapalitan yun kahit sandali lang.
-mukha kang todo celebrity kapag nakacosplay ka at naglalakad sa mall, hearing this like: saan ang party iha? or those like that
-those people that can't appreciate anime like in Galleria will stare you like a toy, kala mo patay ka na.
-aatakihin ka ng gutom, puyat, takot, nerbiyos, kaba...lahat na! lalo na kung aksidenteng magkaroon ka at nakaputi ka. PATAY!!!!! Wala akong pads!!!

During:
- you always say "Sinong susunod!?" I always do that, kulang kasi ng boses yung mga marshals.
- Bahala na!
- I really enjoy this one: ung first UGG, I went there as a Human Pecopeco for my lady Crusader...the announcer and the audience saw my sacrifice habang binubuhat ko ung kasama ko sa likod ko, then he quotes "That's the ultimate sacrifice a friend can do to others...!!!" Dahil doon nanalo yung kasama ko at since accessory ako, nanalo din ako ng SLOTTED SUNGLASSES!!!


After:
- ah ok lang, laitin mo naman yung kasunod mo, isama mo yung iba. "Bible Black! Bible Black like in 2nd upAME event.
- wala na po akong maalala.

speaking of multo, sa UST madami dun, specially at Tinoko Park at sa Main building. I even managed to get on on film! Sadly, hindi ko pa napapadevelop...ipopost ko na lang po kapag napadevelop na.

Here's another horrifying experience...being stalked by an American DOM at the convention when I first wore Lilith in public. I'll never wear skimpy costumes again...NOT hehehe!

then nagroroller blades ako...na ka-alis na pala yung van at nandun yung shoes ko..hala...

habang nasa daan muntikan na ko masagasaan ng BUS!!!

nakakatawa lahat kmi nagpanic...at na-iwan sa gitna...sa iwas sa bus...

...aahhh yes... I remember that time....

Ozine Fest.... it was a dark and stormy night...(!?)

...Entrance fee was 100 (php)
guess what... I forgot my wallet...with my dad...I had to ask my buddy (crossdresser) to pay the entrance for me... ( kapal ko nun! )

but the story doesnt end there...

In the middle of the event... I started to feel... hungry....yes...hungry! My dad went to the event but then left after my catwalk.... BUT he had the money and the camera!!( still with enough film to take pics of people! ) gawsh... but he did leave me 20 pesos... ( which was sooooo not enough for food!!! ) I needed food and a drink...FAST!! so... while my moment of starvation slowly devouring me.... my comrades started to feel pity on me....

Vanie ( vh4n ) who cosplayed as Tifa and still had her dad with her in the event... bought me coke ( which didnt really help, but thank gawd I survived )


I learned a lesson.... never forget your wallet... or your dad to an event where you can die of starvation ( not to mention leg cramps )...

And evevn though that event was so stressful...( since I tried not to look too retarded ) I still met nice people... and saw..."him" and got to talk with "him"

Muahahahaha!!!! and that ends my story...

Horrifying....

3 times na kong na-late sa con registration. But anyways, I just didn't mind it. Besides I tend to enjoy instead 'coz I had mingled with my fellow anime fans and cosplayers.

Pero sa mga events na nakapagcosplay ako heto yun...

Before:

- Mahirap-hirap kumilos kasi di pwedeng mawala sa ayos ang costume or else...
- Minsan namimisplace yung isang part ng costume. Tapos pagkaayos, misplaced ulit... XD

During:

Minsan kahit prepared, di maiiwasang ma-mental block. Kaya pagdating sa stage, bahala na....

After:

Ayun... nakahinga ng maluwag.... kaso may time na makakaramdam ka ng konting sakit dahil sa pagkangalay sa katatayo

during na lang.... nasira weapon ko... huhuhuhu

noong huli kong mission na me naka inkuentro akong
bakla.
me hawak siyang baril noon AK:47 tapos naka palda siya.
sa sobrang gulat ko napatay ko siya.

b4 event: sumuka sa daan....
during event: kinakabahan...but expecting failure...
after event: sumuka ulit...dahil kinabahan!!

before event:
- ung feeling na parang meron kang nakalimutang dalhin/suotin (for example, instead of 3 items, 2 items lng pala nailagay mo sa costume mo)

during:
- ninenerbyos
- nawawala sa isip kung anong planong gagawin
- nauuhaw at wala kang dalang wallet (kc walang pocket ung costume ko nung una), kaya ndi makabili ng inumin
- naiinitan sa sobrang tense at walang pangpaypay. XD

after:
- ung feeling na parang may kulang sa ginagawa mo sa stage
- todo-todong gutom or pagkauhaw. XD
