tinatawag ako ng angels and demons pero ako tong si ayaw talagang magbasa nun.

ang magaling kong basahin ay yung mga heavy philosophical books na halos 500 pages tapos maliliit pa ang mga sulat. Yun yung mga Pol Medina Jr. books hehe

^_^ I like reading a lot, and I really collect books. My favorite genres are fantasy and chick lit [yeah, I know, weird combination] I have lots of favorites and recommendations, so... sorry, kasi mukhang mahaba-haba to!! [This is one of my favorite topics, so pagbigyan niyo na ko, ne?]


Lord of The Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkien:
It deserves its 'classic' status, truly. Any fan of fantasy should have read this, otherwise... sa totoo lang, nakakahiya. :P

Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling:
C'mon, even non-bookworms appreciate it!! I know it's commercialized and over-exposed and overly fanfawned/shipped, but a good book IS a good book.

The Belgariad and the Malloreon by David Eddings:
Eddings' books are good for readers who have just started to get into fantasy. Though they are sets of five books each, they're very easy to follow, and aren't overwhelming like other fantasy books.

Oz Series by L. Frank Baum and Ruth Plumly Thomson:
I guess not everyone knows that "The Wizard of Oz" spawned an entire series that was continued even after the original author's death. I like the bizaare elements and humor splattered throughout the books.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" by Douglas Adams
Not exactly fantasy, but sci-fi is closely related to fantasy, ne? They're very funny too... they're followed by several more books, but I found these first two books the funniest among the series.

The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan:
'Hardcore fantasy', as some people would say... don't try it unless you really are a big fan of fantasy [or else have the patience to read looooong books]!! For those who are fans of the genre however, they're must-reads!

"Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella
A lot of fun, chick lit at its finest, IMHO. The rest of the series is good too, I just like the first one the most.

Gossip Girl Series
I guess it's blasphemy to say this, but I like "Gossip Girl" more than Candace Bushnell's books. ^^;

The Iliad by Homer:
Err... basta, fan lang talaga ako ng mythology, especially Greek mythology!!

Gosh, ang dami pang iba. Works of Anne Rice, Paulo Coelho, Richard Bach, James Joyce, Ernest Hemingway, Piers Anthony, William Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis ... good reads in general.

EVERYTHING BY NEIL GAIMAN
"Neverwhere", "Stardust", "Smoke and Mirrors", "Good Omens" [co-authored by Terry Pratchett!], "Coraline", etc!! I'm a BIG FAN of the Sandman graphic novels, and my absolute favorite book is his novel, "American Gods". Favorite author ko siya!


As for manga... Well, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Gung [ay teka, manwha yun], Maria-sama ga miteru, Yakitate Japan, Death Note... at marami pang iba. ^^;

Hmm.. I'm such a bookworm, actually, di ko na maalala ung mga books na binasa q eh.. Wait, try qng tandaan
