i dun think i matters of your fabric is synthetic or not
i suggest you go fabric hunting then choose for your self
your going for a certain effect of the fabric for every part am i rigth?

Dear .... are you just getting ideas as to what materials to use? Or you are also asking for technical advice?

as for materials... I suppose the best is leatherette
