how do cosplayers stay thin???
I'm dying to know... and i'm going to kill myself if i don't loose wieight... i'm fat and horid looking and i need to loose weith quick!! :( pls. help me! post you tips, solution, reaction,suggestion! and i'm trying not to binge and purge! :( HELP!!

here are some tips:

1. yes, low carb works..
choose non-complex carbohydrate if you really can't live without carb..
an example of complex carbohydrate is rice..
it is harder to digest that is why people tent to become fatter..
non-complex are breads and pasta..
wheat bread is really good if you're on a diet..
it has lots of fiber and it's molecular structure is much simpler than that of rice due to its amylose and amylopectin structure..
if you want to eat rice, i would advice you to eat red one..
it still has bran so it is still high in fiber..

trivia: 3 pandesal is equal to 1/2 cup rice

2. do portions..
what does portion actually mean?
it means you only eat what your caloric intake for the day requires..
have enough portion of protein, carb, and other essential stuff..
do not go beyond what you need..

3. drink milk
milk is a complete meal..
it contains lots of vitamins, minerals, protein, and so much more...
but choose non-fat..

4. eat less within 20 mins
we tend to have that "full feeling" when 20 minutes of eating has already lapsed..
so eat less within 20 minutes..
chew your food properly..
have someone to talk to while eating (para bumagal ka kumain)..

5. exercise, if not walk for 20 mins or more
we burn calories kahit naglalakad lang tayo..
but this occurs only after 20 minutes of walking..
if you work your body out with harder exercise, you'll burn more calories plus have your body toned..

6. do not deprive yourself from eating.. kumain pa rin kayo!
if you allow yourself to get into the "fasted state" because you are on a diet, meaning you deprived yourself from eating, you tend to become fatter afterwards..
this is because when you eat less you metabolic rate slows down..
now, once na bumalik ka sa dati mong eating habits, since your metabolism has already slowed down, tataba ka lalo..
that's why diets like atkins don't last for a long time..


here are just some tips..
but actually, you can ask a dietician kung ano ang bagay na "diet"
depende kasi yan sa eating habits ng tao plus metabolism nyo..

if i sound kinda know-it-all, pasensya na pero mejo related sa course/ maraming nutritionist friends/ may symposium na inorganize org ko about this..

but for me, exercise is really the best..
i only weigh around 86-89 lbs
super payat..
ang problema ko nga ay magpataba..
if you think my dilemma is not as ugly as getting thin, you're totally wrong..
some think i'm anorexic though i'm not..
but i actually eat more than i could chew..
pero siguro kaya di ako tumataba, bukod sa genes at super bilis na metabolism, engaged talaga ako sa sports..

i did sports climbing, i am a fencer, i jog, run or walk a lot, tapos ngayon engaged ako into scuba diving..
yun nga lang nagka-knee injury ako for being too active..
if you feel na mahal yun, walk or jog man lang.. or dance!

hmm..
i haven't really tried any decent diet but i try to limit my rice intake when i don't wanna get fat.. pero once depressed... nakakaubos ako ng 5 pints ng ice cream or more...good thing i don't really get that fat...

tip: pag nag diet kau kelangan nyo p rin kumain pero cguro half n lng n madalas nyong kainin... tsaka discipline s srili... lots of exercise..
our body needs a normal of 2000-2500 calories a day...
mhirap mging bulimic at anorexic... cge kau rin...

Since lumipat ako sa condo nmn, dun ako ngstart mag gain weight, so hirs wat i did..

nag-enroll ako sa gym class and nag work out ako

i do TAEBO, sit ups and crunches *dpt tlg may cardio*

den sinamhan ko ng diet

i try to resist sweets and carbs

as much as possible 2-3meals lng ako..

less rice and lots of water

kpg gutom ka try eating low calories na yogurt

mabubusog ka and hnd ka tataba *wink*

the required caloric intake of a person would depend upon his/ her weight, height, gender, and age..

may required subject nga ako peero di ko pa nakukuha wherein your caloric intake for a day is calculated..

tapos bawat serving talaga na na-account mo bibilangin mo..

kung tutuusin nga malakas talaga kumain ang mga pinoy..


hindi ako nagda-diet pero para sa mga gusto mag-diet try to observe your metabolic rate..
kung tabain ka talaga, have an active lifestyle..

If ur addickted to rice... try limiting urself to 1 cup a meal ^_^

really helped me a lot... and try jogging around ur village for at least 30 mins... they say u need to at least have 30 mins of exersise a day to maintain ur weight ^_^

in truth u have to ask ur doc of what u can take to lose weight.
me, i take this celeium fiber drink my dad takes too...
although u'll go to the cr after. but it works... the fat clings to the fibers and goes out... if u know what i mean
and yeah exersice 3 times or every day of the week for 30 minutes...
not to much carbs and u'll get there...
i already lost 1 poud when i took that thing.. it tastes bad but works...
